When you hear the word “Icicles”, what comes to mind? If you’re from the Midwest or East Coast, you probably see images of tapered ice hanging from your roof. If you’re from the West Coast, however, you’re probably thinking about that delicious Thai treat – rolled ice cream – sold at one of the many Icicles locations.
Founded in July 2016, Icicles opened its first store in Willow Glen. In a short 2 years or so, the business is now getting ready to open its 12th store. Since its inception, Icicles has been an ardent supporter of local community causes. According to Lynda Huynh (HR Director at Icicles), Icicles just recently made an $8,000 donation to the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. This is just one of the many examples of community support provided by the company.
With an eye to the future, Icicles is looking to expand their support for schools around their store locations. Now partnering with Contribulet, Icicles will donate 15% of their on-line sales to schools. Schools should go to www.contribulet.com to setup their fundraiser and invite Icicles to help raise money.
